Angry Birds Craze!

Ok, I admit it, when my husband told me about this game called Angry Birds that his friend let him play on his phone, I thought, what the heck is that?! That doesn't sound fun!

At that time, my husband & I didn't have fancy phones that we could download these silly games on and he would bug me everyday about getting a smart phone just so he could play Angry Birds!

Needless to say, I got him a phone for his birthday (for a PENNY!)

and the first thing he did was download...yup, Angry Birds!

Eventually, I got hooked too and next thing you know Angry Birds was popping up everywhere! Even Conan O'brien played it! haha.

People kept telling us that we needed to do some Angry Bird cake pops and FINALLY I got an order for them!!!

I was pretty excited! They turned out better than I expected!

LAKER LOVE!

This is probably our most favorite cake so far!

Almost all of our family members are all about the

LAKERS!!!

I was soo excited to get this order from a classmate.  It was very sweet that a Laker cake was requested because the young lady who ordered it for her boyfriend is soo NOT a Lakers fan!  That's love right there! lol.

This was my first order for a custom cake, so I called on my sis, Donna, who had way more custom cake orders under her belt than I did.  This was by far the funnest cake to assemble!  Everytime we'd put a piece on, we'd have a cheesy smile on our faces and would have to take a step back to admire how well it was coming along!

We had so much fun with this cake that we decided WHEN the Lakers win yet another championship this season, we're going to make a whole table of Laker goodies! :)

Anyway, enough talk, HERE is our favorite cake!

We think this is the perfect flavor to help welcome the fall season, Halloween and the Thanksgiving holiday!  The cake pop is made up of the delectable Pumpkin Spice cake, mixed with cream cheese frosting, and dipped in the chocolate of your choice.  Or, if you prefer, imagine biting into a Pumpkin Spice cupcake topped with cream cheese frosting-it would go perfectly with a cup of hot cocoa or your favorite coffee.
